The action is alright, but it’s mostly just people shooting zombies.” Mondo Bizarro I guess that I shouldn’t expect any more than that…so I don’t. Even if they did explain it, it’s pretty dumb. They barely explain any of the major events because, well, they expect you to have seen I Am Legend. “The plot of this movie is dumb- plain and simple. Normally they do something incredibly awful, like ending Treasure Island with a giant CGI spider, but this movie was just kinda boring and terrible-free.” Films in Boxes However, based on The Asylum’s previous work, I honestly expected something much worse. “ I Am Omega is significantly worse than any of the three films based on the book I Am Legend. It was scary to a point…” Film Critics United There were a few scenes in this film that actually made me jump, which is quite a rare feat indeed. “Though Dacoscos’ claim to fame is more for his speed, agility and martial arts skill than his acting ability, he’s not a bad actor at all, and I Am Omega in my opinion was at its best when it was just Dacoscos alone dealing with his myriad of issues and the zombies. Eventually, it just grinds into mediocrity and then boredom.” Down Among the “Z” Movies “Unfortunately, the zombies aren’t actually scary after the first scenes and the film devolves into arguments among the last humans and plot entanglements that don’t lead anywhere or develop the characters.
